Spent 14 hours chasing a phantom voltage drop on a G1000 autopilot circuit, turned out to be a single pin in a D-sub connector backed out maybe a millimeter.

Ugh, it's always the tiniest thing that causes the biggest headaches.

Fourteen hours seems like a lot for that. A millimeter on a pin is a pretty clear fault to find with a good meter. Maybe the troubleshooting process got a bit overcomplicated.
