Dude 1.2 million steps is absolutely insane. My phone went crazy too when I did a long hike a couple years back and it told me I'd walked over 800,000 steps in a month, but 1.2 million is next level. That's basically walking from one end of the country to the other on your own two feet, lol. Your legs must be absolute steel right now, I know mine were sore for weeks after way less distance. Major props for sticking with it that long.
