Update: My $80 'ultralight' tent pole snapped on the first night in the Wind River Range.

The replacement part cost me another $45 and two days waiting for a mail drop in Pinedale, so what's a good, actually durable pole brand for high winds?

But $125 for a tent pole seems like the real problem here.

Maybe the wind was just crazy strong, even a good pole could have broken.
