Don't buy those cheap prefab raised garden beds from the hardware store

Spent $150 on two of those metal raised beds from Lowes and they rusted through in 6 months, soil all over my patio. Anyone else had this happen or found a brand that actually holds up?

Honestly that's rough, $150 down the drain. Tbh I've seen this complaint a lot with those thin steel beds, they just can't handle moisture. Did you have them sitting directly on the ground or did you put some kind of barrier under them? Ngl I'm wondering if the way you set them up makes a difference, like if you had good drainage underneath or not.

Nah, I actually disagree - I've had those same beds for over a year with zero rust (just gotta seal the edges).
