Hot take: Buying an expensive prefab shed was a total waste of $1,200

I bought one of those fancy resin sheds from a big box store last spring, thinking it would be a easy backyard storage solution. After 9 months, the roof panels cracked from a little snow, and now water leaks all over my tools and lawnmower every time it rains. Anyone else learn the hard way that cheap plastic stuff just doesn't hold up?

Scrub the roof seams with some silicone caulk and a tube of PL300 glue before next winter hits. That cheap plastic is garbage but you can baby it along for a few more years.

Really feel for you dealing with that leaky roof. It's a SERIOUS pain when you think you've got it sealed and then the next rain shows you were wrong. Hopefully that PL300 trick gives you some peace of mind for a while.
