Just realized how camping showed me a better way to light my yard
I was camping last fall and they had these little solar lights stuck in the ground. It kept the path clear and looked really cozy. I got some for my own backyard and put them around the deck. Now we can eat outside even when it gets dark early.

Oh that reminds me, my friend did something like that after her camping trip too. She put those solar lights along her driveway and they actually helped when her dad visited at night... he has trouble seeing in the dark. Basically they got a whole bunch for cheap at the end of summer. The only thing is she had to move a couple that were stuck under a tree branch, they got pretty dim. But they still turn on every night, even now.

How often do little things from trips end up fixing problems at home? It's funny how the simplest camping gear can give you a better setup than fancy store bought stuff.
