My $400 misting system was a total flop
I dropped $400 on one of those fancy misting setups for my patio in Phoenix thinking it'd make summer bearable. Hooked it up to the hose and tested it, but the water pressure is too low so it just dribbles on the concrete. Anyone else get burned by a backyard gadget that sounded good on paper?

Did you try adding a booster pump to the line? I had the same problem with my drip irrigation in Tucson and a little $50 inline pump fixed it right up. Also make sure you're using a pressure regulator if your hose pressure is too high, that messed with mine at first.

Why would you need a booster pump for drip irrigation, isn't that just begging for blowouts? I tried one on my line last summer and it burst a connector after two days, so I just went back to gravity feed.
