Appreciation post: I just hit 50 viewings of 'The Room' with friends
We started a tradition three years ago where we throw plastic spoons at the screen, and it's the most fun you can have with a terrible movie. What's your group's go-to 'so bad it's good' movie for a party?

Fifty viewings is a serious commitment (I respect the hustle). Our group's pick for years was "Troll 2," but we burned out on it. The acting is so wooden it's like watching a school play where everyone forgot their lines. We've moved on to "Samurai Cop" lately, which has this amazing scene where a guy clearly forgets his fake mustache halfway through a shot. The sheer lack of effort is what makes it perfect for a crowd.

But what if the bad acting is actually the whole point? Those wooden lines in Troll 2 feel like a shared joke you're all in on. Maybe burning out just means you finally got the punchline. Samurai Cop sounds fun, but doesn't a movie need some kind of heart, even a dumb one, to keep you coming back?

You mentioned the lack of effort, but sometimes the effort is there and it's just all wrong.
