I finally gave The Room a second chance and it clicked

Spent $15 on a used DVD of The Room last week after hating it the first time. Watching with a crowd of friends who knew all the lines made me appreciate the terrible acting and bizarre scenes. Has anyone else's opinion flipped after seeing a bad movie with the right people?

Watching The Room sober is a cry for help, watching it with a crowd of people who know every line is a religious experience. You go from questioning why the director exists to shouting "YOU'RE TEARING ME APART LISA!" at the screen like it's a sacred ritual. Did your friends also walk around throwing a football in slow motion for the rest of the night?
