Just dropped $12 on a rental for 'The Room' and it was the best bad movie night ever

Honestly, I gotta disagree a bit. The full experience of watching it with a friend, having the actual DVD menus and that weird behind-the-scenes stuff, it's part of the charm. You don't get that from clips. Plus paying for it makes you feel like you're in on the joke with everyone else, not just a freeloader.

Wait, you spent actual money on that? I mean, it's a famously terrible movie, but twelve bucks is a lot for a joke. Maybe it's just me, but I'd just watch one of the million clips online for free. The whole point is laughing at how bad it is, not treating it like a real film you pay for.

Oh man, I read this article about how the money from those rentals actually goes to Tommy Wiseau now. He's made a fortune off people watching it ironically. So your twelve bucks is part of the whole weird legacy.
