Just realized I've seen 'The Room' 50 times since college

That number hit me last night when my wife pointed out I can now quote the entire 'you're tearing me apart, Lisa' scene from memory, which is both embarrassing and a weird point of pride.

I saw an article that called this the "performative partner" thing. It's like what @the_jake is getting at, where one person does all the work. That setup usually leads to someone feeling pretty alone.
