My friend made me watch 'Birdemic' and now I can't look at eagles the same way...
I used to think a bad movie was just boring or cheap, something to turn off after ten minutes. That changed about six months ago when a buddy brought over a copy of 'Birdemic: Shock and Terror' for our usual movie night. We spent the whole two hours yelling at the screen, laughing at the plastic birds on strings and the actors who just... stop moving mid-scene. Now, I actively hunt for stuff like that online, the ones with terrible effects and weird plots you can joke about with friends. It's a whole different way to watch a film, where the worse it is, the more fun you have. I even found a group that meets at the local library once a month to watch these gems. What's the most hilariously awful movie you've seen that's actually a good time?

That movie night sounds exactly like how my whole group got into "The Room." We still quote the "oh hi Mark" line at each other. It's wild how a truly bad movie can turn into a full-on social event, way more fun than some serious Oscar films. Your library group sounds awesome, honestly. What's the best one you've watched with them so far?

What did your friend do after watching that awful shark movie?

He just went on a deep dive into shark attack stats for like an hour. Couldn't stop talking about how unlikely it all was. It kind of killed the fun of how bad the movie was. We had to steer him back to making fun of the terrible CGI. Sometimes the facts get in the way of a good bad movie night.
