My friend nearly walked out of our Sharknado 3 watch party last night
We were about 40 minutes into the movie at my apartment, and the scene came on where a shark gets thrown into the Washington Monument. My friend Mark just put his head in his hands and said, 'I can't, the physics...' and stood up to leave. I had to pause it and remind him the whole point is to laugh at how dumb it is, not take it seriously. He sat back down, and we ended up having a blast yelling at the screen. Has anyone else had to talk someone off the ledge during a truly awful movie?

Mark was right to question the physics, that's the whole joke. The movie is asking you to enjoy how wrong it gets. The fun comes from sharing that disbelief.
