My regular at the bar finally sat through 'Birdemic' with me
This guy named Carl, who's been coming in for years, always gives me a hard time about my movie picks. Last Thursday, I convinced him to watch 'Birdemic: Shock and Terror' at my place after my shift. He spent the whole 90 minutes yelling at the screen about the terrible CGI birds and the wooden acting, but he was laughing the entire time. Anyone else have a friend they finally converted to the joy of a truly awful film?

Got my roommate to watch The Room last month. Tbh he spent the whole time asking why everyone was throwing footballs inside, but he quotes it all the time now. That shared confusion is honestly the best part.

Oh man that's so true. My friend kept pausing it to ask why the spoons were everywhere and who funded these people. Now he'll just yell "you're tearing me apart Lisa" at random times. That movie is a total mess but getting someone else to see it is the best.

Wait, hold on... "why the spoons were everywhere"? I've seen Birdemic like five times now and I never caught that. Is this a thing in the movie or is your friend just seeing stuff? I gotta ask Carl about this next time he's at the bar, because now I'm questioning everything I thought I knew about that masterpiece of garbage. That's the kind of detail you can only catch when you're watching it with someone for the first time, they always notice the weirdest things you've been overlooking for years.
