My Tuesday night was saved by a movie about a killer tire

I had a rough day at work, so I grabbed a pizza and decided to watch something dumb. I picked 'Rubber', a film about a car tire that rolls around blowing things up with its mind. The plot makes zero sense, but watching a tire stalk people for 90 minutes was the perfect distraction. Has anyone else found a movie so bad it actually fixes a bad mood?

Totally get that, Rubber is a classic for that mood lol. My go-to is The Room, the sheer confusion of every single scene just wipes my brain clean. Something about terrible acting and baffling plot choices just resets my whole vibe after a long day.

Yeah there was this article I read a few months back about how "so bad it's good" movies actually scratch a specific part of our brain. Apparently the confusion and randomness of something like The Room or Birdemic forces your mind to stop trying to predict what comes next. Your brain just gives up and goes along for the ride. It's like mental static in a good way. I think that's why I can watch Wiseau's weird football tossing scene over and over. The pure nonsense of it just shuts down the part of me that wants to analyze everything.

Honestly, I used to think only good movies could do that.
