Picked the dollar store shark movie over the fancy remake, zero regrets

Last Friday I had to choose between watching the new big budget shark flick or this 2004 straight to DVD thing called 'Attack of the Sea Serpent' from the bargain bin. I went with the cheap one because the cover had a shark with laser eyes and honestly it delivered everything I wanted, bad CGI and all. The acting was so stiff my buddy and I were laughing for 2 hours straight, plus there's a scene where the shark jumps onto a boat and just slides off like a wet pool noodle. Anyone else got a favorite terrible monster movie they always pick over the polished stuff?

Man, that wet pool noodle bit alone is worth the price of admission! Did the laser eyes ever actually do anything, or were they just on the cover to trick you?
