Pro tip: Picking famously bad films on purpose made my movie nights way better

I always avoided movies with poor ratings, thinking they'd be boring. Then a pal talked me into watching 'Plan 9 from Outer Space' for laughs. We ended up howling at the flimsy props and strange plot. Now, I set up a monthly night where my friends and I choose a cheesy, awful film to watch. It's now our favorite way to unwind, and we even make jokes about the bad lines later. Last month, we saw 'Troll 2' and were amazed by how entertainingly bad it was. Who knew that not taking cinema so seriously could lead to so much fun? This little change has honestly made my weekends a lot more enjoyable.

The Room was a riot with friends last year.

My friends and I watched "Birdemic" last month and the shockingly bad animation had us in stitches! We started yelling at the screen every time a poorly drawn bird appeared. Making fun of the wooden acting together turned a simple movie into an event. Now we actively seek out films with terrible ratings for our gatherings.
