The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is secretly the best one

I watched it again last weekend at like 2AM after my shift and realized it's the most ridiculous car movie ever made. Nobody drifts that clean through Tokyo streets without hitting a single pedestrian, but the soundtrack and stupid plot had me hooked for 2 hours. How does a movie with that many plot holes still manage to be this entertaining?

Turning your brain off is one thing, but people act like that movie is some hidden masterpiece when it's really just a series of car scenes loosely stitched together with bad acting. The plot isn't even a plot, it's just a reason to get from one drift race to the next. Han's entire character arc is being mysterious and eating snacks until he gets killed off for shock value. The high school kid who shows up and instantly beats the local drift champion makes zero sense. It's fun in a late night, half asleep kind of way, but it's not some secret great film. People need to stop pretending it's more than a dumb time killer.

Man, just turn your brain off and enjoy the ride, that's the whole secret.
