TIL my old way of judging movies was totally wrong...

For years, I'd only watch stuff with high scores on Rotten Tomatoes, like it was a rule. Then last month, my friend made me watch 'The Room' at his place in Austin. We laughed so hard my stomach hurt... it was awful, but we had a blast. Now I seek out those bad, fun movies on purpose, like 'Sharknado' or anything with Nicolas Cage going nuts. Anyone have a favorite 'so bad it's good' movie they'd force a friend to watch?

Totally get that, it's like we're trained to only chase the polished, perfect thing. I see it with food too, everyone wants the fancy restaurant but sometimes the weird gas station snack is the real experience. That's why I'll always defend 'Birdemic' as a masterpiece of hilarious, baffling choices.

Brooke475 is right about Birdemic, but the real crown jewel of bad movies is Troll 2. Zero trolls, all goblins, and the most insane climax ever filmed.
