Update: My local video store still has a whole shelf for 'The Room' rentals
I was in Portland last week and saw they have 12 copies, each with a different handwritten joke on the case. The clerk said they host a monthly screening where people throw plastic spoons at the screen. What's the best bad movie you've seen with a crowd?

Ugh, crowd screenings ruin bad movies for me. The whole point is the quiet, personal cringe. Watching "Birdemic" alone, you really feel the director's sad vision. A theater full of people yelling just turns it into a joke, and not the good kind.

Hold up, you watched Birdemic ALONE? That's some next level dedication to the cringe. I tried once and had to turn it off after twenty minutes, it was too much. I get what you mean about the quiet sadness hitting different by yourself though. A crowd just makes it a party, but alone you're stuck with every awkward line and weird bird noise.

But what if the joke is the whole point? I mean, some movies are just made to be laughed at with friends.
