Bakery field trip gone wrong at the county fair demo

I went to the county fair last Saturday to watch a celebrity baker do a live croissant demo. The guy got his hand stuck in the dough sheeter for like 5 minutes and someone had to unplug it. They gave us samples of his failed batch though, honestly tasted fine. Has anyone else seen a demo go off the rails or is it just me?

Well, that does sound a little dramatic, but honestly, getting your hand stuck for five minutes is nothing. I've seen worse at these things. A buddy of mine once watched a guy set a flambe pan on fire and the whole demo tent had to be cleared out. You got free samples out of it, so I'd call that a win, really.
