Heard a customer at the market say they never check their oven temp
I was at the Portland farmers market last Saturday and a person buying my rye said they just set their oven to 350 for everything. They said their cakes always come out flat. I realized they probably have a huge temp difference they don't know about. Has anyone else had a customer figure out their oven runs hot or cold after a simple test?

Remember doing that myself, my poor first loaf of bread looked like a paving stone. Totally get what @rosed32 means about the cookies. An oven thermometer was a real eye opener.
