My old KitchenAid mixer's gear finally stripped out mid-batch.

It happened on Sunday while I was mixing a double batch of brioche dough. I had to finish kneading by hand, which took me back to my first bakery job in the 90s. Anyone have a good source for replacement gears, or is it time to just upgrade?

Feel your pain, I burned out a motor trying to knead bagel dough once lol. Gotta agree with @luna75 though, fixing the old tank is the move.

Honestly, I'd fix the old one. Those older KitchenAids are tanks. The new ones just don't feel as solid. You can find the gear online pretty easy. It's a common fix.
