After my niece's birthday cake collapsed, I've decided kids shouldn't bake.
The tears and ruined kitchen aren't worth the so-called learning experience.

Wait, letting kids bake helps them learn from mistakes, right?

Oh, the "so-called learning experience" must have been a masterclass in kitchen chaos! I imagine the collapsed cake looked more like a sad pancake with sprinkles. At least now you have a funny story to tell, even if the cleanup was a nightmare. Maybe stick to store-bought treats until she's old enough to handle an oven!

Ugh, I feel this. Last time my cousin tried to help me bake, we had flour on the ceiling and eggshells in the batter. The cleanup took longer than the baking was supposed to. Sometimes you just need a break from the kitchen madness.
