I bought a $25 specialty pan for a single recipe and it's been sitting in my cupboard for a year.
I wanted to make a fancy bundt cake for a party, but after that one use, I realized I could have just used my regular tube pan and saved the money and storage space, so has anyone found a good second use for a Nordic Ware Heritage pan besides the specific cake it's made for?

But isn't the whole point to make that one special cake look amazing?

You are not alone, my friend. I have the same pan and it's a total cupboard hog. In my house, it's become the official pan for making giant jello molds for summer picnics, which is kind of silly but the kids love it. I've also used it to bake a very dense brown sugar pound cake, and the design came out surprisingly well. It's a bit of a pain to clean, but at least it gets used for something.
