My sourdough starter finally gave me a loaf I wasn't embarrassed to bring to book club
I brought my third attempt to my neighbor's place last Tuesday and she asked for the recipe before I even sat down, which made me forget about the 14 flat bricks I'd pulled out of my oven the month before, so has anyone else gotten a win right after a string of fails that made it all worth it?

My 11th attempt finally made a decent boule and I literally cried over my cutting board. The sad part is my husband walked in and thought I was having an emotional breakdown about chores, but nope, just bread. Totally get that win feeling lol, makes you forget every pancake disaster you ever pulled out of the oven.
