A client's comment about my clipper work changed how I hold it

Last month a regular at my chair in Columbus told me my fades looked uneven on the left side, which I never noticed. I started watching my wrist angle in the mirror and realized I was tilting the clipper blade down too much on that side. Now I use a lighter grip and keep the blade more level, has anyone else had a client point out a flaw that totally fixed their technique?

Three years ago I had a guy tell me my beard lines weren't matching on his jaw. Turned out I was rushing the left side because I'm right handed and always started there. Slowed down and now I do the right side first, then mirror it.
