Bought a cheap clipper stand that broke after two weeks
I picked up a no-name clipper stand online for about $25 thinking it was a good deal. The plastic clip that holds the clipper snapped clean off while I was cleaning my station, and the whole thing fell over. I lost a set of ceramic blades in the drop, which cost me another $40 to replace. Has anyone found a stand that actually holds up with daily use?

Cheap stands are a total false economy. I learned the hard way to look for all-metal construction, especially on the locking mechanism. The plastic parts on budget models just can't handle the weight and constant use.

Honestly, check if your clipper brand sells their own stand.

Oh man, that reminds me of a buddy from work. He bought this super cheap stand off Amazon, looked fine in the photos, all that. First time he put his clippers on it, the whole thing just tilted and the clippers slid off onto the bathroom floor. Cracked the housing, had to buy new clippers entirely. He learned the hard way that saving ten bucks doesn't matter if your gear ends up broken on the tile.
