Clipper fell off the counter mid-fade in Tulsa, caught it with my knee

I was doing a skin fade last Tuesday around 4pm and my Oster 76 just slipped off the shelf, I did some weird reflex kick and bounced it off my knee but it still nicked the guy's ear when I panicked. Cleaned it up, finished the cut, and he tipped me $10 saying it was the most interesting haircut he'd ever had. Any other barbers have a near disaster that somehow worked out better than expected?
