Customer told me my fades looked "rushed at the bottom," and I've been using a 0.5 guard on the last inch ever since
Took me 3 clients to figure out she meant the hair right above the ear, not the neckline, and switching to a 0.5 guard there cleaned it up. Anybody else got a client comment that stuck with them for weeks?

Rushed at the bottom" would've had me lost too. I read somewhere that clients point at the spot that bugs them but describe it with whatever word pops in their head first, so you basically have to guess what they mean. Good on you for sticking with it till you found the ear area.
