Ever try to cut a tomato with a butter knife? I spent a whole summer doing that before I realized my problem. I was basically wrestling my food instead of cooking it.

Yeah that sounds like a nightmare honestly. @wesley_fox92 is right about dull tools being dangerous, plus they just make everything harder than it needs to be. Wrestling a tomato with a butter knife is basically asking for a squashed mess and a bruised ego. My grandmother used to say a sharp knife is a safe knife, and she wasn't wrong. Ngl, I would have just given up and ordered takeout after week two of that summer.
