I finally fixed my clipper overheating problem after 3 weeks of guessing

Last month my Wahl clippers kept getting hot after about 4 cuts during a busy Saturday at my shop, and I was losing time swapping between two backups. Turns out the blade was dull and I had been blaming the motor, so I swapped in a fresh blade and the heat issue basically disappeared. Has anyone else chased the wrong fix on a tool before you figured out the real cause?
