My old Oster Classic 76 finally gave up the ghost yesterday

I bought that clipper back in 2010, and it survived my whole apprenticeship. Yesterday, mid-fade, it just started grinding and smoking. I had to grab my backup Wahl to finish the cut. It's wild how attached you get to a tool that's been with you for over a decade. Anyone have a good recommendation for a new heavy-duty clipper, or is it worth trying to fix a 14-year-old motor?

Damn, that's a real loss lol. My old Andis finally died last year and it felt like putting down a pet. Honestly, for a motor that old, you might just want to give it a proper burial and upgrade.
