Spent 3 hours on a bald fade before I realized the mirror trick

Had a client with a really tricky cowlick near the crown, kept leaving a dark patch no matter how many times I went over it. After 3 hours of adjusting my clipper angle and still not fixing it, I finally flipped my hand mirror around to check from behind and saw the issue was my lighting spot, not the cut. Anyone else ever get stuck on something simple that a second mirror would have solved way faster?
