That Christmas rush week nearly broke my schedule system
Last December, the week before Christmas, I had 14 cuts booked in one day between walk-ins and regulars. I keep a paper book and a phone calendar, and somehow they got out of sync by Tuesday afternoon. I double-booked a 2pm beard trim with a 2:15pm skin fade, and the second guy waited 40 minutes while the first one chatted about his nephew's hockey tryouts. When I finally got to the fade, I rushed the blend and had to fix it three times with my clippers. By Saturday I was doing 8am to 9pm with no lunch break, and I forgot to confirm two appointments from the 6pm block. Both no-showed, so I lost about $90 in potential income that day. Have any of you switched to a single digital booking app after a holiday meltdown like this, or do you still trust paper for the busy weeks?

Paper plus phone is just two calendars waiting to fight each other.
