That kid who asked for a reverse mohawk in my chair last Thursday

So this 12 year old kid comes in with his mom and says he wants a reverse mohawk. I'm thinking, sweet, easy money. But he wanted the shaved part in a perfect zigzag pattern down the middle. Took me 45 minutes with a trimmer at the shop in Austin to get it right. His mom loved it, but the kid's dad called me 2 hours later asking if I could fix it back to normal. Has anyone else had a client change their mind that fast?

I had a client once who wanted a checkerboard pattern shaved into the back of his head. Looked rad when I finished but his girlfriend made him come back the NEXT DAY to have it all buzzed off. Charged him half price for the fix and told him next time think it through for at LEAST a week.

yo @jenny_sullivan97 you actually charged him half price for the fix? that's generous. I would have made him pay full price again. girlfriends ruin everything man. that checkerboard must have looked sick too. hope he learned his lesson about letting someone else make hair decisions for him.
