That one client's kid changed how I do hot towel neck strips

Kid in the chair at my shop in Portland asked his mom why the towel was 'sad and droopy' and I realized I'd been folding them too loose, so now I roll them tight like a burrito and it takes me 2 extra seconds per cut, anyone else notice the twist makes the steam last longer?

The tighter roll does hold heat longer, but it's mostly because you're pressing out less air, not the twist itself. Steam sticks around when the towel's dense, so that burrito fold is definitely the move.
