That one Tuesday in October when everything went wrong

I had a day last fall that still sticks with me. Started with a guy who wanted a skin fade but kept flinching every time the clipper got near his ear. Then a kid came in for a first haircut and screamed for 20 minutes straight. I cut myself on a shavette right before lunch and bled through three bandages. Totaled 8 customers that day but only made about $90 after refunding one guy. Anyone else ever have a shift where it felt like the universe was against you?
