Notice this happening with bodies, homes, even careers thanks to filtered online life.

Wait, you see this messing with careers too, @benlewis? That's actually scary. I just read about people feeling like failures because their job doesn't look like some highlight reel online. It sets up this impossible idea of constant wins and big moments. Honestly, normal work days start to feel like you're doing something wrong. It makes people quit good jobs just to chase a filtered fantasy.

Actually think the bigger problem is people forgetting to log off. Benlewis makes a good point about filters, but real life doesn't have a compare button. If your career feels bad because of someone else's highlight reel, maybe you're just watching too much of their show. Why not just focus on your own work?
