Warning: I chose a $300 Andis Master over a Wahl Senior for my main clipper and it's been a mixed bag.

I needed a new workhorse clipper for my station in Phoenix and was stuck between the two. I went with the Andis for the power, but after six months, the motor gets hotter faster than I expected on longer fades. Has anyone else picked one over the other and found a good way to manage the heat?

My Wahl Senior in Tempe runs cool even after ten straight skin fades.

Cool after ten fades? Mine gets pretty warm, like hold it by the plastic warm. Maybe you just got a real good one.

Yeah, "runs cool even after ten" is what finally sold me on the Senior too.
