Just found out how much wood a top pitmaster actually uses
I was watching an old interview with Tuffy Stone from the 'BBQ with Franklin' YouTube channel. He said he goes through about a full cord of oak just for a single competition weekend. That's a huge pile of wood! It really shows how much fuel you need to keep a steady fire for that long. Does anyone else track how much wood they burn for a big cook?

A full cord just for a weekend is wild. I never really kept track, but that makes me want to start.

I started using a basic spreadsheet last year and it was a game changer. Turns out we were burning through a half cord every month just with evening fires.
