Rant: Wasted $60 on a fancy smoker tube that barely smoked anything

Tbh I bought one of those long mesh smoker tubes for my gas grill last month. Thought I could get that real smoky flavor without a whole offset smoker setup. Filled it with pellets, lit it up, and after 2 hours my brisket had maybe a hint of smoke. Total waste of cash. Anyone else get burned by one of these things?

Bullshit, this is user error not a product problem. I've used the same kind of tube on my Weber kettle for two years and get a solid smoke ring every time. You probably didn't let it burn long enough before tossing it on the grill, or packed the pellets too tight so the air couldn't flow.

My neighbor tried smoking with wet pellets once and claimed the tube was defective, man was that a mess.
