Appreciation post: my immersion blender dying mid-soup last night was actually a blessing
The blade flew off into my potato leek soup and I had to fish it out with tongs, but that's when I remembered my grandma's trick of mashing things through a colander and honestly the texture came out way better and now I'm wondering if anyone else has had a kitchen disaster that accidentally improved their cooking?
