Tried meal prepping with glass containers vs plastic and glass won by a mile
I used to be all about those cheap plastic meal prep containers, but after 3 weeks of dealing with tomato sauce stains that wouldn't come out and lids that warped in the microwave, I finally switched to glass. Bought a set of 12 glass containers with snap lids for about $30 at Target last month. The difference is crazy - no more weird smells sticking around, they heat up way more evenly, and I haven't had a single lid crack on me yet. One thing I also noticed is that my salads stay fresher for an extra day because the glass seals better. Has anyone else noticed a big jump in food quality just from switching container materials?

Same here, my cheap plastic containers started smelling like old spaghetti sauce no matter how many times I washed them. Glass has been a total game changer for my weekly meals, even if my clumsy self has already dropped one and watched it bounce instead of shatter. Nice to know I'm not the only one who took forever to make the switch.

That reminds me of when I tried glass containers for my chili and ended up chipping my countertop when one slipped out of my hand. Still worth it though, the food does taste better.
