Went to a potluck last night and noticed everyone's cutting boards were warped

I was at my friend's BBQ in Phoenix, and three different people had cutting boards that bowed so bad they slid around the counter. If you're not drying your boards on their side after washing, you're ruining them in about 6 months. Anyone else see this at parties or just me?

Honestly, "ruining them in about 6 months"? I call overreaction. I've had the same warped board for years and it still works fine, just flip it over.

375ml of water left on a warped board for a week will make the warp permanent and unflippable. Flipping it over buys you a few months but the curve just gets worse until it starts cracking at the edges. You really think gravity stops working just because you turned the board upside down?
