A customer told me my torque wrench technique was all wrong
He said I was just 'clicking and moving on' without letting the wrench settle, which can leave bolts under-torqued. I started waiting a full second after the click, and my creak complaints dropped by half last month. Anyone else have a simple fix that made a big difference?

Man, that's such a good catch. I used to do the same quick click for years. Started letting it sit for a beat, and suddenly those "just check my lugs" calls after a rotation stopped. Makes you wonder how many little habits we pick up without realizing they cause problems, right?

I always thought those calls were just bad luck. Letting the lug nuts settle for a second is such a simple fix. It really shows how small changes can solve big annoyances.
