Got laughed at for using a zip tie trick on a seized seatpost, but it worked on my third try

Lol I mean it's just a bike part, not open heart surgery. I feel like people get way too worked up about seized seatposts sometimes. Sure it's annoying but some of the stuff I've seen people try is wild. Glad you got it sorted though, zip ties are underrated for sure.

Man I've been there... my first attempt at that trick ended with me just staring at the bike like it personally offended me. At least you got it on try three, I had to use a pipe wrench and some choice words.
