I finally went back to rim brakes on my commuter and I'm keeping them

Swapped the hydro discs off my old Trek for some basic dual pivots after the third seized piston in 18 months, and stopping power is honestly fine for city riding. Anyone else find disc brakes on a road bike are just extra maintenance for a problem that doesn't exist at 15 mph?
