The mystery creak that took me 3 shops and a week to solve
Turned out it was the derailleur hanger bolt on my cross bike, barely loose but enough to drive me insane, and the third mechanic in Tucson spotted it in 30 seconds after I'd already swapped bottom brackets, cranks, and pedals, so has anyone else diagnosed something dumb after way too many parts got blamed?

Did you keep the old bottom bracket and cranks, or did the shop let you return them?
