After a three-year hiatus, my binge watch turned into a guessing game
I waited for the final season of my favorite show for what felt like ages (seriously, it was like three years). When it finally dropped, I sat down to binge it all in one go. Halfway through, I realized I had no idea who half the characters were because I'd forgotten so much. I ended up texting my friend mid-episode to ask if the guy in the hat was good or bad, and she just sent back laughing emojis. Now I'm thinking maybe waiting that long wasn't the best plan.

Rewatching the last two episodes from the previous season actually saved me.

Seems like binge culture backfires sometimes.

Yeah @holly_bennett60, I tried to watch that whole true crime doc in one weekend. By Sunday I was just zoning out, and two months later I can't even tell you the guy's name. It's like my brain hit a wall. Felt the same way when I ate an entire birthday cake once, just a blur of sugar and regret lol.
